Have you ever wondered why certain products that are banned in other countries are allowed in our food? In Europe, they take proactive measures to mitigate methane seepage into homes—gas similar to radon. Yet here in Utah, there are no regulations for radon. Enough is enough! We have proven methods used internationally that can be applied here to effectively prevent radon from entering our homes. We've partnered with a local firm to source membranes from overseas, which are designed for pre-construction installation before the concrete is poured. While we're still in the process of publishing our findings, rest assured there’s more to come. It's time to protect our families and stop radon poisoning.

At CBMUtah, we are driven by a fierce commitment to remove radon from our homes, not just mitigate it. We’re standing up to challenge the construction industry to raise the bar. If other countries can stop methane from seeping into homes, there’s no reason we can't demand the same for radon here in Utah. It's time for the state to adopt proven, life-saving practices that will protect our families. We’re also working on innovative vapor barrier solutions for existing homes.
